Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA)
TLA assists Service members with additional expenses for temporary lodging OCONUS. It offers partial reimbursement for lodging and meals for up to 60 days when relocating to or from a permanent duty station (PDS). For detailed eligibility and guidelines, visit the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO) - TLA. Note that TLA is not for personal convenience or enrichment.
